Doggie-style, Bengali-style!

Are you from Nadia, West Bengal? That place
rocks, yaar. I mean cool, cool place man. Arre just the other day I got
this wedding card -- Anju Karmakar is marrying her dog. No no, arranged
marriage hai bhai, people of Nadia are very traditional. Her
father Subal used to be totally worried yaar. "My daughter is
four years old now", he would say, "and I just can't find a nice
doggie". Fortunately one of his relatives had a good mongrel.
It was a simple Bengali wedding with all the traditional rituals. Tommy brought only five baratis, but Subal Karmakar did everything for his only daughter. The poor guy has a small job at the Bidhan Chandra Agricultural University, but he had 80 guests, yaar, and he did decent wedding. Arrey I was telling, these things toh don't even happen in scandinavia yaar. But lekin all sorts of laws are there yaar. It seems that poor Subal has been arrested under some Drugs and Magic Remedies Act. Yeh kya bakwaas hai yaar. Apne rajasthan mein toh you can do anything. Arrey, you don't believe? Saale article is there on Rediff, yaar! - Vijay Kumar |
